The Grill Mount is the ONLY mouth mount with a mouth piece designed specifically for surfing and filming. All other brands have a mouthpiece designed for snorkeling. SUPERIOR MOUTHPIECE DESIGN

A perfect water tight seal is achieved with the Grill Mount because you bite on to two heat moldable EVA pads covering two rigid bars that meet outside your mouth that your lips can easily close around. It makes for a completely open airway, so you aren't breathing through what feels like a straw. When you close your lips, your mouth is fully closed and sealed. You'll never get flushed. When we started prototyping the Grill Mount years ago, one of our first prototypes was made from a snorkel mouthpiece. We instantly saw the many limitations that were created with that design. The biggest one was with snorkel mouthpieces the air hole remains open even though your lips are closed. Heat the red, food grade EVA bite pads in hot water to custom mold them to your teeth for a “Locked In - Never Lose It” fit. Once molded, you barely have to bite the mount to keep it in place so your jaw won’t get tired. NO NASAL FLUSH WHEN DUCK DIVING - THE AIR WAY CLOSES COMPLETELY
